Our Founder

As the founder of Trinity Bridge Counseling, my mission is to provide a space where clinical expertise meets deep, genuine empathy. I have been practicing social work for over a decade, dedicating my career to helping individuals navigate life’s most complex terrains. Over the last 10 years, I have learned that the most powerful transformations happen when we stop just surviving our days and start actively building a life we love.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to healing. To ensure you receive the highest level of care, I have pursued advanced training and am certified in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

By combining these powerful, evidence-based modalities with Solution-Focused and Mindfulness techniques, our work together goes beyond traditional talk therapy. We will actively collaborate to rewire unhelpful thought patterns, regulate overwhelming emotions, and build a concrete toolkit for everyday life.

While my experience spans a wide range of life challenges, my heart is deeply invested in helping others quiet the constant noise of worry and find their footing in the present moment. I also love partnering with clients who feel "not enough" or struggle with deep-seated unworthiness. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping you dismantle those false beliefs and step fully into your true value.

My clinical dedication is profoundly shaped by my own life. I am a wife—married for 5 wonderful years—and a busy mother of four children. My daily life is a beautiful, chaotic masterclass in patience, boundaries, and unconditional love.

My deepest source of personal growth and insight comes from parenting my youngest son, who is autistic. Navigating the world of neurodiversity has given me a non-textbook, deeply personal understanding of the emotional load, the beautiful triumphs, and the unique resilience required to support a special needs family. When I sit across from you and talk about managing overwhelming stress or fighting for your peace, it comes from a place of lived truth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to our most commonly asked questions below.

How long does therapy take?
Healing is a personal journey, and there is no set timeline. However, because we utilize Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) alongside deeper work, many clients begin to feel a shift in their perspective and gain practical tools within the first few sessions.
How do I know if we are a good fit?
The relationship between therapist and client is the biggest predictor of success, that is why we offer a brief 10 minute initial consultation to discuss your goals, answer your questions about our approach, and ensure you feel comfortable and heard before committing to a full session.
What is art or sound therapy, and do I need to be artistic?
No artistic skill or musical background is required! These are clinical tools used to bypass the overthinking brain. Art therapy helps you visualize your stress to make it manageable, while sound therapy uses frequencies to physically calm your nervous system. They are perfect for those who find just talking to be limiting.
How do I know if I need counseling?
Deciding whether you need counseling can be challenging. If you're experiencing feelings of sadness, anxiety, or being overwhelmed, or if you're having difficulty with relationships, work, or personal growth, seeking support can be beneficial. Counseling can also be helpful for those navigating major life changes, or anyone looking to enhance their emotional well-being and clarity. Remember, reaching out for help is a strong step towards healing and growth.
What types of approaches do you use in therapy?
We use an integrated approach that combines several specialized techniques to meet your unique needs including; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Faith Integrated Therapy(if requested).
What can I expect during my first session?
The first session is an intake appointment. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to understand your story. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to achieve. Think of it as a collaborative interview where we start building the bridge toward your goals.
Do you offer telehealth (online) sessions?
Yes! We provide secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions for those who prefer the convenience of meeting from home or work. This is a great option for busy professionals or those with transportation challenges. We offer in-person sessions for play therapy and art therapy only at this time.
